Terry Clements for Westchester County Legislator

As Chair of the Public Safety Committee, Terry has been focused on school safety, gun safety, and police reform; she served on the Police Reform Task Force and helped launch Project alliance. Project Alliance is a comprehensive approach designed to address the behavioral health needs of Westchester County residents. Through five essential prongs, this initiative aims to enhance public safety while providing support and resources to individuals facing mental health challenges:

Terry is committed to continuing the work with our law enforcement partners to improve public safety while building communication bridges with the community.

Terry and her colleagues accomplished record funding for affordable housing – including more than $90 million for 2023.

Continuing to work with her BOL colleagues and municipal leaders at every level of government to address affordable and supportive housing needs.

With climate change increasingly straining our infrastructure, continuing to champion the environment, working through both the Environmental Bond Act and federal resources.
